“To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.” — William London

I’m always grateful when my friend Shelly shares with us. She’s a homeschool co-op teacher, wellness enthusiast, and someone who truly cares about helping women understand what their bodies are trying to say. She has a thoughtful way of connecting everyday life with simple, supportive habits, and she always shares from her own experience. This week, she’s talking about something that quietly impacts so much more than we realize.
I didn’t realize how much I had gotten used to feeling “off” until I noticed how often my body was working just to keep up.
Nothing dramatic. Just small things that came and went. Digestive discomfort. Energy dips that didn’t quite match my day. A sense that my body wasn’t bouncing back the way it used to.

I had gotten used to pushing through instead of pausing.
What shifted things for me was realizing that resilience isn’t about being tough. It’s about being supported. And for me, that understanding started with gut health.
Our bodies are designed to do a lot on their own. When the microbiome is balanced and diverse, it helps support digestion, immune function, and how we respond to everyday stress.
Diversity plays a key role here. A well-supported microbiome can better recognize what belongs and what doesn’t, which helps the body stay steady instead of reactive.
Research continues to point to the microbiome as a foundational part of overall wellness, including how the body responds to stress and inflammation.¹
Once I began to understand that, it made sense why supporting my gut seemed to support everything else.
What drew me to dōTERRA PB Restore was how it approaches support more holistically, not just focusing on digestion alone.

Each capsule includes a combination of:
24 probiotic strains
Prebiotics to nourish beneficial bacteria
Postbiotics to support the gut environment
Bacteriophages, which add another layer of support
Together, this is known as the ProBiome Complex, often described as the four P’s: pre-, pro-, postbiotics, and phages.
The diversity stood out to me. It felt like a more complete approach instead of a one-direction solution.
This was something new to me.

Bacteriophages are naturally occurring and highly specific. They interact with certain unwanted microbes, helping create space for beneficial bacteria to do their job.
What I appreciated most is how this support felt steady, not aggressive. It didn’t feel like forcing anything. It felt like creating a better environment for balance.
One of the reasons this has worked for me is how simple it is.
I take PB Restore once a day, usually in the morning. No complicated routine. Just consistency.
I notice the difference most during times when life feels a little off. Travel. Stress. Busy seasons.

My digestion feels calmer. My body feels less reactive. And I seem to recover more easily when things aren’t perfectly on track.
It doesn’t feel like I’m trying to control anything. It feels like I’m supporting what my body already knows how to do.
This experience shifted how I think about wellness.
Resilience isn’t about never feeling off. It’s about how well your body can adapt and come back into balance.
And for me, that starts in the gut.
PB Restore has become one of those quiet, steady habits that supports that process in the background.
It reminds me I don’t need to push harder.
I just need to support my body in a way that makes sense.
And sometimes, the biggest changes come from the smallest, most consistent choices.
